Two-stage Piston Pusher Centrifuge

The two-stage piston pusher centrifuge is a horizontal two-stage piston pusher, continuously operating filtration centrifuge.

Working principle


The main motor drives the inner and outer drums of the set to rotate at full speed. Materials are continuously introduced through the feed pipe and evenly distributed on the filter screen wall at the inner section of the inner drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid phase passes through the filter screen and the filter holes on the drum wall, is discharged through the liquid discharge pipe to the outside of the machine, and the solid phase is retained in the inner drum to form an annular filter cake layer. While the inner and outer drums rotate at the same speed, the inner drum continuously reciprocates axially under the push of the piston. The pusher plate pushes the filter cake layer in the inner drum to move outward intermittently and continuously to be discharged from the inner drum, enters the outer drum for further separation and forms an annular filter cake layer. The outer end face of the inner drum pushes the filter cake layer in the outer drum to move outward intermittently and continuously to be discharged from the outer drum, and then is discharged out of the machine through the scraping trough.

Structural composition:

It is mainly composed of components such as a main motor, inner rotating drum, outer rotating drum, pushing disc, piston, feeding pipe, liquid discharge pipe, and scraping trough. Among them, the inner and outer rotating drums are key components; the filter screen is installed on the inner rotating drum, and the piston system is used to push the inner rotating drum to make axial reciprocating movements.

Features:


It can continuously perform processes such as feeding, separation, washing, and discharging under full-speed operation, and has the advantages of large production capacity, high output, good washing effect, low moisture content of filter cakes, and low solid content in mother liquor. In addition, this centrifuge has low vibration, low noise, little breakage of crystals, and the entire operation process is carried out in a closed environment, causing no pollution to the environment.

Technical parameters:

Taking the HR series as an example, its models include HR400-N, HR500-N, HR630-N, etc. The inner/outer drum diameters range from 337/400mm to 920/1000mm, the rotating speeds are between 650-2200r/min, the separation factors are 236-1145, the pusher strokes are generally 40-50mm, the pusher frequencies are 20-80 times/min, the main motor powers are 11-90kW, and the production capacities are 1-50t/h.

Application fields:


It is suitable for separating suspensions with solid phase particle size larger than 0.08mm and concentration higher than 40%. It is applicable to industries such as chemical engineering, chemical fertilizers, alkali production, and salt production, and is particularly suitable for solid-liquid separation of sodium chloride, ammonium chloride, ammonium bicarbonate, sodium sulfate, urea, etc.
