Working principle
Powdered materials are first put into the closed container of the granulator. Through the rotating movement of the stirring device inside the container, a semi-fluid high-efficiency mixing state is formed. Subsequently, the binder is sprayed in, the materials are gradually moistened, and under the extrusion, friction and kneading actions of the stirring blades and the cylinder wall, they are transformed into loose soft materials. Finally, the high-speed rotating granulating knife cuts the soft materials into small and uniform particles.

Structural composition:
Stirring system: Usually composed of high-speed stirring paddles, blades, stirring shafts, etc., it can fully mix materials with liquid binders.
Granulation system: Generally includes granulating discs or granulating drums, etc., used to extrude and form moist materials into granules.
Drying system: Includes air flow systems, heating devices, etc., used to remove moisture from wet granules.
Sieving system: Mostly uses equipment such as vibrating screens or rotating screens to classify dried granules to ensure that the particle size meets the requirements.
Control system: Equipped with an automated control system, which can accurately control parameters such as equipment speed, temperature, and humidity.
Features:
Good granulation effect: Fluidized granulation results in granules that are approximately spherical, with good fluidity and high sphericity, enabling the compressed tablets to have better smoothness, disintegration, and dissolution rates.
High production efficiency: Each batch takes 2 minutes for dry mixing and 1-4 minutes for granulation, making the work efficiency 4-5 times higher than that of traditional processes.
Compliance with GMP standards: Dry mixing, wet mixing, and granulation are completed in the same closed container, reducing the risk of contamination during material transfer, and the equipment is easy to clean.
Low binder dosage: The binder dosage can be reduced by 25% compared with traditional processes, while shortening the drying time.
Technical parameters:
Taking the GHL series wet mixing granulator as an example, its volume comes in various specifications such as 10L, 50L, and 150L. The output ranges from 3kg per batch to 280kg per batch, the mixing power is between 1.5kW and 22kW, the cutting power is between 0.85kW and 9kW, and the compressed air consumption is 0.6m³/min to 1.8m³/min.
Application fields:
It is suitable for mixing and granulating powdery materials by injecting binders in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, and light industry, and is also applicable for dry powder mixing. For example, in the production of tablets in the pharmaceutical industry, it can provide ideal granular raw materials for the tableting process; in the food industry, it can be used for granulation of chemical condiments, dairy products, etc.
