A two-dimensional mixer is a device that achieves material mixing through the rotation of the drum and the swing of the swing frame, and is widely used in fields such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemical industry.

Structural Composition


Drum: It is a key component of the mixer, mounted on the swing frame, supported by four rollers and axially positioned by two thrust wheels. Two of the driving wheels are driven by a rotating power system to make the drum rotate.
Swing frame: Driven by a set of crank and rocker mechanisms, which are mounted on the frame. The swing frame is supported on the frame by bearing assemblies, enabling the drum to swing while rotating.
Frame: Used to support components such as the drum and the swing frame, divided into an upper frame and a lower frame. The rotating mechanism is located in the upper frame, and the swing mechanism is located in the lower frame.

Working Principle


The rotating drum rotates under the drive of the power system, causing the materials to convect and diffuse inside the drum, achieving initial mixing. At the same time, the swing frame is driven by a crank and swing rod mechanism, making the drum swing left and right while rotating. The materials are mixed with the swing inside the drum. This two-dimensional movement mode makes the materials undergo convection, shear, and diffusion during the mixing process, thereby ensuring the uniformity and sufficiency of the mixing.
