Structural composition:
Rack: Usually made of high-strength steel, it is the basic structure of the tablet press, ensuring the stability and durability of the equipment.
Transmission system: Including components such as motor, reducer and transmission chain. The motor transmits power to the main shaft through the reducer, driving the punch die to move up and down.
Punch die system: It is the core component of the tablet press, including upper punch, lower punch and middle die. Materials are pressed into tablets by the upper punch and lower punch in the middle die.
Feeding system: Responsible for uniformly feeding materials into the middle die. Common feeding methods include gravity feeding and forced feeding.
Control system: Including components such as electrical control cabinet, touch screen and sensors. Operators can set the working parameters of the tablet press through the touch screen, such as pressure, speed and tablet thickness.
Discharging system: Responsible for taking out the pressed tablets from the die and conveying them to the collecting device. Common discharging methods include vibration discharging and pneumatic discharging.

Working principle:
The materials are uniformly fed into the middle die through the feeding system. The upper punch and lower punch gradually approach each other under the drive of the main shaft, pre-pressing the materials to make them initially formed. Then, the upper punch and lower punch continue to approach, applying greater pressure to the materials to press them into tablets in the middle die. The pressed tablets are taken out of the mold and conveyed to the collection device through the discharge system.
Classification:
Single-punch tablet press: A tablet press with a set of dies that perform vertical reciprocating motion.
Rotary tablet press: A tablet press with multiple sets of dies evenly distributed on a rotating turntable, which perform vertical reciprocating motion along a certain trajectory.
High-speed rotary tablet press: A rotary tablet press where the linear speed of the die axis rotating with the turntable is not less than 60m/min.
