Working principle
When the interior of the tank is in a vacuum state, steam, hot water, or heat-conducting oil is introduced into the jacket for heating, and the heat comes into contact with the wet materials through the inner wall of the tank. The water vapor evaporated from the wet materials after absorbing heat is pumped out through the vacuum exhaust pipe by the vacuum pump. At the same time, the rotation of the tank causes the materials to continuously turn up and down, inside and out, which accelerates the drying speed, improves the drying efficiency, and achieves the purpose of uniform drying.
Structural composition:
It is mainly composed of a cone, a heating device, a vacuum system, a transmission device, a bracket, and other components. The cone is a double-cone rotating tank. The heating device usually adopts electric heating wire or electromagnetic induction heating. The vacuum system includes a vacuum pump, vacuum pipeline, etc. The transmission device is composed of a motor, a reducer, etc., and is used to drive the cone to rotate.
Features:
It has a fast drying speed and the characteristic of instant drying. Moreover, the temperature of the droplets is low during the drying process, making it particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials. The internal structure of the equipment is simple, easy to clean, and all materials can be discharged, meeting GMP requirements. In addition, the boiling point of the material solution decreases under vacuum, which can save the heat transfer area of the evaporator and reduce the heat loss of the evaporator.

Taking the SGHZ series as an example, its designed volume ranges from 100L to 8000L, the motor power is 1.5kW to 30kW, and the spindle speed is between 10r/min and 15r/min.
Application fields:
It is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, flavors and fragrances, dyes, and chemicals. It is suitable for powders or granules with a material specific gravity of less than 7g/cm³, certain fluidity, and a liquid content of less than 10%, such as pharmaceutical intermediates, condiments, flour, and flavors and fragrances.
